LAST MINUTE ENTRIES There are still plenty of spaces left so keep those entries coming in. GROUND CONDITIONS: ' Good ', last updated 15/05/13 RACE NUMBERS If you have already received your number there is no need to register on the morning. If you have been asked to collect your number on the day there will be a table in the school hall where numbers will be handed out. There will be lists in the school hall and on the playground of all the runners please check that the details on the lists are correct. If you notice a mistake, please advise the registration desk in the school hall so that the mistakes can be corrected before the race. You must run with the race number allocated to you - no substitutions are allowed. It is recommended that you write an emergency telephone contact and details of any medical condition/allergy on the back of your race number. Please remember to bring four safety pins to attach the number securely to the front of your t-shirt or vest.
ON THE DAY PARKING On arriving in the village of Henham you should see signs and marshals directing you to available parking areas. The main parking area if you are approaching Henham from the M11 or A120 is situated at Pledgdon Barn CM22 6BJ. After driving through the village of Elsenham, go past a turning to Henham on your left (don‟t take it)…and Pledgdon Barn is soon on your left. Car park is in front of the Barn. There is a 10-15 minute walk to the start, via a grass track so, if you have a heavy bag or a child‟s buggy you may wish to drop these off in front of the school before parking. Marshals will be on hand to direct you. Parking if approaching from alternate directions is situated at Parsonage Farm, Henham, CM22 6AN. Please allow plenty of time to be ready to assemble by 10.15 a.m. at the school. (see map situated on course page)
There are toilets and small changing rooms at the school. Valuables may be deposited for safekeeping and there is also an area in the school hall where bags and clothing may be left at your own risk. For safety reasons, dogs are not permitted on the course or on the school grounds.
START The 10K race is due to start at 10.30am from the school gates the 3K fun run will start a few minutes later with competitors being walked by marshals from the school to a separate start position, both races finish inside the school grounds.
AFTER THE RACE We have secured a drinks licence for the event and there will be a barbeque and refreshments available. If your family is coming with you and it is a nice weather, you may wish to bring a blanket to “picnic” on the school playing field.
RESULTS We will post up results at the school as soon as possible after the race and prize giving will take place at around 12 o 'clock. Full results will be published on the Henham 10K Website,
