On arriving in the village of Henham you should see signs and marshals directing you to available

parking areas. The main parking area if you are approaching Henham from the M11 or A120 is

situated at Pledgdon Barn CM22 6BJ. After driving through the village of Elsenham, go past a

turning to Henham on your left (don‟t take it)…and Pledgdon Barn is soon on your left. Car park is

in front of the Barn. There is a 10-15 minute walk to the start, via a grass track so, if you have a

heavy bag or a child‟s buggy you may wish to drop these off in front of the school before parking.

Marshals will be on hand to direct you. Parking if approaching from alternate directions is situated

at Parsonage Farm, Henham, CM22 6AN. Please allow plenty of time to be ready to assemble by

10.15 a.m. at the school. (see map situated on course page)

There are toilets and small changing rooms at the school. Valuables may be deposited for

safekeeping and there is also an area in the school hall where bags and clothing may be left at your

own risk. For safety reasons, dogs are not permitted on the course or on the school grounds.

The 10K race is due to start at 10.30am from the school gates the 3K fun run will start a few

minutes later with competitors being walked by marshals from the school to a separate start position,

both races finish inside the school grounds.

We have secured a drinks licence for the event and there will be a barbeque and refreshments

available. If your family is coming with you and it is a nice weather, you may wish to bring a

blanket to “picnic” on the school playing field.
